Laboratory exercise

FPGA + Breadboard (Intermediate Level)

By: RHLab (University of Washington) , Matt Guo (RHLab, University of Washington)

Description

Students will design a parking lot management system that tracks the number of cars. They will simulate photoelectric sensors at the gates using toggle switches and LEDs on a digital twin of a breadboard. The project requires designing an FSM for the control logic, building a simple digital circuit on the virtual breadboard, and using GPIO pins to interface with the virtual breadboard.
